ABOUT SPECCADDY
“Design is a plan for arranging elements in such a way as best to accomplish a particular purpose.” Charles Eames (1907-1978) Visionary industrial designer and architect
Speccaddy multiple eyeglass case has two internal padded dividers that form three individual pouches inside the case. The dividers are wider than the actual case so that the size of each pouch can expand, if necessary, to accommodate the eyeglasses that are put in it. It has been assumed in design, that one pair of eyeglasses will always be larger than the second or third pairs.
The dividers wraps around the largest pair of eyeglasses, leaving smaller areas for the second and third smaller pair of glasses. The spectacles thus nestle against one another and their very proximity helps to give good impact resistance. There is no wasted space, and this means that the size of the Speccaddy is about the same as an ordinary glasses case that is sized to fit the largest eyeglasses
Speccaddy is made of durable polyester or cotton furnishing weight fabric and polypropylene stiffeners; is sewn with high strength thread (not glued); and is washable. The best way to wash is to soak, squeeze gently, rinse and place on towel to dry.
Designs
Speccaddy sources its materials from the global marketplace and does not guarantee continuous supply of any particular fabric. Thus the fabrics and colour selections will change from time to time. We point out that because of different colour settings on any individual computer, the colour of the Speccaddy you receive may be a little different from what you view in the photographs.
