Over 4 billion adults in the world wear glasses. This statistic is derived from the Vision Council of America’s claim that about 75 percent of the adult population worldwide uses vision correction products, and 64 percent of them wear glasses.
More women wear glasses than men; over 50 percent of all women wear glasses as opposed to 42 percent of all men. Approximately 85 percent of the entire population wear sunglasses. Nearsighted vision problems are more common in younger people while farsighted vision complications typically arise during the golden years. One-third of all people who wear glasses have at least a slight astigmatism.
By 55 or 60, many people find that they need reading glasses in two strengths — one for the printed page and another for seeing the computer screen and other things at an intermediate distance.
Speccaddy has an Australian invention patent and trademark registration over much of the world. The design has been refined many times and the case now is small, multi-purpose, and can be adapted to use as a hands-free purse. There is no equivalent product in the world. Speccaddy has become a recognized brand. It sells globally.
Serious offers of interest in retailing Speccaddy on on-line platforms in the US, China, and Taiwan have been received. These offers remain open. Huge markets could be opened up there and elsewhere. However to take advantage of these opportunities, production needs to move from a small cottage industry, to a factory setting. The current owner is not in a position to make this transition; With fresh blood, passion, and energy, Speccaddy could become “the new thing”.
If you are a crafter/sewer looking for a small business and a product that is fun to make and sells well, then Speccaddy could be for you. Full training will be provided and thousands of dollars of stock and materials will be yours. And importantly, the opportunity to scale up is always there.
If you are an owner of a factory that already produces curtains, bags, purses, ties, or other textile product, the production of Speccaddy could blend easily with your existing product range and add an exciting diversification. No competitors!
If you are simply looking for a different business opportunity, this could be the one.
The price is modest and negotiable.

This is such a clever idea! Now I can have my glasses together in one place - don't have to rummage through my bag trying to find different cases (which saves me space, too) and the separate sections inside keep the glasses safe. Very sturdy and well made. Definitely recommend.

I googled “Triple Eye Glass Case” because I wanted a case for my Distance, Reading and Sun glasses. This is the only item I could find on the internet. I am super glad I found this, because it is absolutely exactly what I imagined only better. It shipped from Australia and arrived to my house in California in about 5 days. Quality and workmanship are fantastic and the size could not be better. This is an EXCELLENT item!

Really well made & light weight. Not completely a hard case, but firm enough to provide enough protection too keep your glasses safe.

I was heading overseas for a month and had to take Sun Glasses, Reading Glasses and Distance Glasses. Three glasses cases to put in my handbagwas going to take space that I wanted for shopping. I asked the Optometrist if they had a case that held more than one pair of glasses, they looked at me like I was asking the impossible. Hadn’t someone asked prior to this, surely this was a good idea!!! A quick search on the internet produced Speccaddy. It arrived a couple of days after ordering and was perfect. Lightweight and holds all three glasses without any problem, it fitted into my hand bag taking up he space of one case. Couldn’t have found a better product. Thank you such a brilliant idea.

Very useful. My reading and distance glasses both fit neatly into it and don’t take up near as much room in my handbag as two covers.
